By completing this work, you will acquire skills to appraise research evidence. Resources Be sure to review the Learning Resources before completing this activity. Review the copies of the tools provided in the textbook for Appendix D, E1, E2 and E3, Appendix F (for terminology), and Appendix G1 and G2. Review instructions on how to submit a zip file. The Assignment (zip file) Review Appendix D to guide the selection of E1, E2, or E3 to appraise the articles you have identified that answer the EBP question. Complete the Appendix E1, E2, and/or E3 for each research article depending on the category of the evidence. You should have a minimum of 10 – 15 articles. Make sure to follow the appraisal guidelines and use only the articles based on the responses in the tools that indicate that the quality of the evidence is adequate to provide dependable information to answer the EBP question. If you exclude an article you identified, please note your reason for excluding it. Complete Appendix G1: Best Evidence Summary Appendix Tool and G2: Individual Evidence Summary Tool as indicated.
