Task Overview
In this assessment, you will choose ONE case study presenting a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and relevant test results. Your task is to assess the information in the case study and to answer the questions provided, along with an explanation of the steps you took to arrive at your conclusions. You must use the template provided and answer the questions in it.
Task Instructions
- Read the case study carefully. Take your time to understand the patient’s medical history, symptoms, and the results of any diagnostic tests provided.
- Consider relevant anatomy and physiology: Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret the data and symptoms presented in the case study, and to show an understanding of the condition presented.
- Complete your case study analysis by answering the questions in the provided template.
- Use appropriate references: You need to consult external sources or textbooks to support your analysis, make sure to include proper citations within your text. Give priority to higher-quality references (i.e., peer-reviewed scientific articles), and avoid relying solely on your textbook. Your reference list must be presented in APA 7, and will not count towards word count. Ensure you provide a reference for every statement of fact you make.
- Adhere to the word limit: Your analysis should be 1000 words +/- 10%. Be concise and focus on the most relevant information. Anything over this word limit will not be assessed.
