Use the same case that you began to analyze in part 1 with assessment of:
- medical indications
- patient preferences
Segment 2 will continue your assessment with inclusion of: 3. quality-of-life considerations 4. contextual features Segment 2 will also include an organized problem-solving section that:
- defines the ethical problem(s)
- identifies three or more alternatives
- evaluates each of the options, and
- makes a justified recommendation.
Segment 2 should also be no more than 3 pages in length.
Consult the various toolkits on Moodle for resources for analyzing quality of life (QoL) and contextual features and for organized problem solving.
