Assignment Instructions

Choose one area of development (physical, cognitive, or social-emotional) and identify a potential delay based on standard benchmarks from sources like the CDC or WHO guidelines.

Your plan should include:

Identification of the specific milestone and possible delay, with a brief explanation.
Two to three nursing assessments you would perform.
Interventions, including family education and referrals if needed.
Expected outcomes and how to evaluate them.
At least two peer-reviewed references to support your approach.

Use APA 7th edition for formatting, citations, and references. Submit as a Word document with 1-inch margins, double-spaced, and Times New Roman 12-point font. Include a title page and reference list.

Writing and Organization (15 points)

Excellent (13-15): Well-organized, error-free, and flows logically.

Developing (5-8): Some disorganization or frequent errors.
