The primary purpose of a survey is to gather
information, uncover answers, evoke discussion, base
decisions on objective data, and compare results to
increase performance or make changes. This is the
intention, whether seeking individual performance,
leadership, or organizational changes. Family-oriented
changes, and customer surveys aim to improve
processes to boost or foster changes. See Table 15-2
(Sizer, 2014) regarding food insecurity.
