  2. Describe typical identity development in childhood.
  3. Choose two theories related to identity development in childhood from the list below. Describe and explain your chosen theories.

    b. George Herbert Mead’s Theory of Identity Development
    c. Erik Erikson’s Theory of Identity Development
  4. Describe and evaluate one recent academic journal article. This must be published within the last 10 years. This must explore how identity development can be influenced by a specific factor/factors.a. Please describe the aims, methods, findings and conclusions
    b. Please evaluate the strengths, limitations, real-world usefulness and ethical considerations

Note: A factor is something that influences identity development in some way (examples include developmental delay, social experiences and individual differences).

Instructions for narrated Presentation:

You must include an audio narration within your presentation. This must be uploaded onto each of your main slides. Your narration should expand on the information within the slides. Please see the “My Assessment” tab on the module iLearn page for further guidance on what to include and how to record your audio.

Instructions for digital Resource:

You must create an informative written piece in the format of your choice. Examples include a blog post, website or Sway. You can also include images in your digital resource. You do not need to include a narration.
