Background
For this assignment, you are to select one of the four countries (https://www.state.gov/state-sponsors-of-terrorism) designated as a state sponsor of terrorism by the United States Department of State. After selecting a country, you will generate a short writing assignment that answers the following questions:
• Country Background: Provide a brief country background and focus on points you believe pertinent to the country being a state sponsor of terrorism.
• Proxy Organizations: Identify and discuss the proxy organization(s) supported by your chosen country. Provide specifics on what resources are provided to the proxies

• Case Study: Provide information on a successful attack perpetrated by the primary proxy group supported by your country of choice. Be sure to include specifics such as date of attack, location, tactic used, results of the attack (i.e. deaths, injuries, property damage), and any response(s) from the country in which the attack occurred.

- The length of each paper shall be no less than five pages in length long, NOT INCLUDING a title page and a Reference page. NO abstract is needed for this assignment.
- Use a minimum of four academically appropriate resources in the generation of the work. DO NOT use Wikipedia, ask.com, e-how, or similar sites as primary sources. They can be used as starting points for research but should not be cited as references.
