Task Description
Overview
In this assessment, you will develop and present a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for G Telecom (or another organisation of your choice). Your deliverables are:
- A written report outlining your final plan.
- A presentation (video) that succinctly communicates your roadmap.
Your transformation plan must address changes across four dimensions—strategy, technology & operations, people, and culture—and include a one-page, infographic-style roadmap detailing the steps required to elevate the organisation’s digital maturity over the next 12–24 months.
Key Requirements
- Strategic, Technology & People Recommendations
- Using the Digital First Framework, propose and justify specific initiatives in each layer (strategy, technology & operations, and people & culture) to advance digital maturity.
- Ensure every component of the framework is explicitly addressed.
- One-Page Roadmap
- Design an infographic-style roadmap for both your report and presentation.
- Break out actions into short-, medium-, and long-term phases (0–6, 6–12, 12–24 months), and link each step to:
- Anticipated business outcomes
- Key risks/challenges
- Video Presentation
- Record a ≤ 10-minute video that walks stakeholders through your roadmap, highlighting the major initiatives and their expected impact.
- Final Report Submission
- Submit your 2 000-word business report within one week of delivering your presentation.

- In what ways are customer and employee experiences prioritised through technology?
- People & Culture Layer
- How mature are digital career paths—recruitment, training, and development?
- What cultural barriers exist, and how has digital change affected organisational culture?
- Are governance structures and decision-making processes transparent and consistently communicated across the organisation?
