PEV3771 TASK

Observe a trial in a criminal matter in the Magistrates’ or High Court and compile a report on the stages of a trial, including the rules and procedures of evidence applied by the court. Include the following in your report:

The forms or kinds of evidence tendered during the trial and procedure for admissibility thereof.
An evaluation of whether or not the trial was conducted in accordance with the relevant laws or procedures (refer to the specific law/procedures).
An opinion whether or not our trial system or procedure enhances the fact-finding mission of the court.

NB: Provide the Case number of the case observed, two reference persons with full details, the court name, the town, dates you attended; and an official stamp of that Court on the assignment cover page or reference list.

A supporting letter shall be provided for you to seek assistance at the courts
