Research Aim:
To explore the readiness (preparedness) of surgical-based consultant clinical educators to employ AI-powered VRS effectively for its integration into the curriculum.
Research Question:
How do surgical-based consultant clinical educators perceive their readiness (preparedness) to employ the use of AI-driven virtual reality in simulation-based education?
Research Objectives:
- To explore surgical-based consultant clinical educators’ perceptions of their readiness (preparedness) to adopt AI-powered Virtual Reality Simulation (AI-VRS) as a teaching tool.
- To explore the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of surgical-based consultant clinical educators.
- To explore how prior experiences with technology and simulation influence surgical-based consultant clinical educators’ readiness to engage with AI-VRS
- To provide recommendations for enhancing educator preparedness and improving AI-powered VR integration strategies.
