Assignment task
This assignment is a group presentation in which students are required to present a health and social care practice-based problem and evaluate the problem using principles as taught in the module.
Examples of health and social care practice-based problems:
- Family of service user dissatisfied with quality of care/
- Bullying in the workplace
- Service user needs not being met with regards to `religious practices
- Discrimination in the workplace (gender, sexuality, ethnicity, age)
- Safeguarding issue of vulnerable child or adult.
The group presentation should:
- Present health and social care practice-based problem (what)
- Identify key stakeholders in the health and social care practice-based problem (who)
- Contextualise the problem (national scale)
- Evaluate how the issue can be addressed using key principles of effective communication, values-based practice, and teamwork
- Reflect on how this relates to your own health and social care practice
