The loss of a baby is a significant and traumatic event that remains with the parents for a lifetime. Bereavement from a twin pregnancy can result in complex emotions as parents are often caring for a surviving sibling while mourning the loss of their infant (Rankin et al, 2021). Twin babies have been born and admitted to the neonatal unit for care.
